Crystal of the Week.
Our crystal journey continues. These powerful tools have been used for centuries to heal, for spiritual growth and personal transformation.
This week I have been influenced whilst traipsing through the woodland and observing the luscious greenery… trees, and plants. Therefore, I have chosen the beautifully shimmering and thought to be the crystal of all crystals, the luckiest of them all, the Green Aventurine.
The Green Aventurine is an extremely positive stone that brings courage, happiness, and good fortune to the lucky wearer. Similar to the Moonstone, it has an iridescent shimmer or adularescence, this is due to the layering and internal reflections of platy minerals.
This natural stone of opportunity not only exudes positivity and good fortune but is also used in construction for landscaping and aquariums… pretty and versatile.
Quick facts:
- The word Ventura means ‘chance’ in Italian and was used to name the stone.
- The stone of the Amazons – Amazon warriors used the divine feminine energy of this crystal to protect them during battle and were worn as talismans and jewelry.
- Known to be the luckiest crystal of all crystals.
Although the Green Aventurine is not associated with the modern zodiac signs and their corresponding birthstones, within the mystical birthstone charts the sign Cancer has the Green Aventurine as its birthstone. The stone uses its qualities to help Cancerians with their lack of confidence and improves their courage when dealing with day-to-day issues, helping them tackle and find solutions by adding clarity to their thought processes.
Many star signs are linked with the stone of all stones, Aries, Leo, Taurus, and Libra all have strong connections. Not only is the crystal a great healer and a master of luck but is also able to reduce overthinking, therefore decreasing anxiety and negative thoughts therefore leading to an improvement in mental health.
To rejuvenate this beauty you will need to cleanse it in running water, nature’s best, choose a stream or creek, and re-energise by placing the stone near plants and nature. If you feel that the stone has been influenced by negative energy then smudge it with sage.
I hope you found this crystal taster to your liking and come back for more sparkling delights next week.
